The ideal candidate will have a PhD and 6+ years of molecular biology experience, with hands-on proficiency in CRISPR, PCR/qPCR, Western blotting, and related techniques, plus a strong publication record.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology or related field is required.
• 6+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in molecular biology research.
• Hands-on experience with PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, cloning, cell culture, and gene editing (CRISPR).
• Strong data analysis ability with relevant software tools.
• Solid understanding of cellular signaling pathways and disease mechanisms.
• Demonstrated scientific communication through publications or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of complex molecular biology experiments to investigate disease mechanisms and identify targets.
• Develop and optimize new molecular assays and techniques for reproducibility and accuracy.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts summarizing findings for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, pharmacologists, and project managers.
• Stay current with literature and emerging technologies in molecular biology.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates.
• Contribute to project planning, strategy, and resource allocation for research programs.
