Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Lead Mobile Application Developer to drive the development of next-generation mobile platforms. This hybrid role offers remote work with in-office collaboration at our Sandton, Gauteng location.

You will lead a team of mobile developers, oversee the full lifecycle, and deliver high-quality, user-centric apps for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate has deep mobile development expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for creating exceptional mobile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile integration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Responsibilities
