Placements24 in Mahikeng, North West invites a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join our client’s team, blending site supervision with design tasks. You will assist senior engineers in planning, design, and execution of civil projects, contributing to local infrastructure development.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering, is pursuing toward ECSA registration (Candidate Engineer), and has 0–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design or site supervision.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) and basic engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design of civil infrastructure components, including roads, drainage, and site development.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with the supervision of construction activities.
• Perform basic structural and hydraulic calculations under guidance.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation using relevant software.
• Support the project team in ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and contribute to project success.
