Hybrid IT Engineer - Tier 3 (JB5292)
Location: Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Salary: R28 000 - R48 000 per month (based on experience)
Employment Type: Permanent
Workplace: Hybrid (Two days in-office, remote, and at client sites as required)

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. 5+ years in a senior or supervisory technical position
3. Valid Driver's Licence and own vehicle for client site visits (as required)
4. Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking
5. Expert in troubleshooting complex technical issues across various IT environments
6. Skilled in Microsoft 365 and Azure Administration
7. Deep understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and macOS)
8. Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)
9. Familiarity with database management and SQL
10. Certified Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
11. Certified Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate
12. Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
13. Certified Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect

Experience with the following technologies would be a huge plus:

1. Firewalls
2. Intune
3. Networking: VLAN, VPN
4. Linux environments

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a Tier 3 support, responsible for resolving the most complex and advanced technical issues beyond the scope of first and second-line support teams.
2. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for intricate technical challenges across diverse IT environments.
3. Manage and resolve advanced issues related to network infrastructure, servers, and systems.
4. Actively mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge to foster team development.
5. Contribute to IT projects by offering technical expertise during the planning, implementation, and post-deployment phases.
6. Stay informed and current with evolving IT systems, technologies, and industry trends.
7. Adapt readily to changing business requirements and technological advancements.
8. Commit to continuous learning by pursuing relevant Microsoft certifications as required.
