Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist for our Kimberley operations. The role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing carrying costs, and ensuring material availability for production.

You will oversee inventory accuracy, implement robust tracking, and collaborate with procurement and production to forecast demand and manage stock flow. The position requires a hybrid work setup with on-site inventory management complemented by remote analytical

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of stock and manage supplier lead times.
• Identify and implement process improvements for inventory management systems and procedures.
