Placements24 is assisting a leading insurer in Vereeniging to recruit an experienced Insurance Claims Assessor. You will evaluate and process insurance claims, investigate details, assess damages, and determine coverage based on policy terms.

This hybrid role allows remote work on select days while maintaining an in‑office presence for complex claims and settlements, ensuring timely, accurate decisions and compliance with regulations. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Assessor or Claims Adjuster in the insurance industry.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies, claims handling procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
• A relevant qualification or certification in insurance is highly advantageous.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to adhere to a hybrid work model, involving remote and Vereeniging office-based duties.

Responsabilités
