Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Incident Response Manager in Sandton, Gauteng, ZA. You will lead a skilled team to detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity incidents, coordinating efforts across departments and external partners.

A hybrid work arrangement allows on-site collaboration as needed for critical operations. The ideal candidate has extensive incident response, digital forensics, and crisis management experience, with strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response/management.
• Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP or CISM are highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute incident response plans and playbooks.
• Lead the incident response team during crises and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate across departments and with external parties during incidents.
• Oversee digital forensics investigations and threat analytics.
• Prepare leadership reports on trends, effectiveness and posture.
