Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory.
• Understanding of design principles and visual communication.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a creative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
• A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for learning new design techniques and software.
• Ability to take constructive criticism and adapt designs accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for various media.
• Develop designs for digital platforms, including social media graphics, website banners, and email templates.
• Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
• Work with senior designers to refine designs based on feedback.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and aesthetic standards.
• Prepare design files for production and ensure they are correctly formatted.
• Research design trends and incorporate them into new projects.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support campaign objectives.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Assist in photo editing and image manipulation tasks.
