The role collaborates with procurement, operations and finance to meet company objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, deep fleet management knowledge, and a track record of reducing costs and improving service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Fleet Manager or senior fleet operations role.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost control.
• Experience with budget management and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet management strategies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, scheduling, repairs, and asset lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations, licensing, permits, and insurance.
• Manage fuel procurement and fleet budgets; identify cost savings.
• Monitor vehicle performance and utilization to reduce downtime.
• Lead and develop a team of fleet technicians, admins, and drivers.
• Implement fleet safety programs, including driver training and incident investigations.
• Use fleet management software to track assets and analyze data.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts, repairs, maintenance.
• Contribute to strategic planning and procurement of new fleet assets.
