• Strong observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Investigate complaints related to public health nuisances and improper waste disposal.
• Enforce sanitation laws, issuing notices and citations when necessary.
• Develop and implement educational programs on sanitation and hygiene.
• Monitor water quality and wastewater management where required.
• Oversee waste management programs and promote recycling initiatives.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other agencies on environmental health issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, and actions.
• Advise businesses and individuals on best sanitation practices.
