Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation programs and strategies for the region.
• Conduct regular site inspections of public spaces, businesses, and residential areas to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Investigate public health nuisances and environmental hazards, implementing corrective actions.
• Educate the public and businesses on proper sanitation practices and health guidelines.
• Manage and supervise teams involved in sanitation initiatives, waste management, and pest control.
• Enforce local health ordinances and regulations, issuing notices and citations as necessary.
• Collaborate with government agencies, community leaders, and other stakeholders to address environmental health issues.
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, program effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement.
• Respond to public health emergencies and coordinate relevant sanitation responses.
