Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Project Manager to lead energy infrastructure projects in George. The role combines on-site oversight with remote coordination to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will manage diverse teams, navigate regulatory requirements, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while upholding safety and environmental responsibilities. A PMP and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a formal degree in engineering/construction management or related field.
• PMP certification is highly desirable for the role.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of energy infrastructure projects from planning to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulators to ensure success.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and address issues promptly.
• Maintain regular stakeholder communications and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards and contracts.
