Job summary

Euromonitor International is seeking a detail-oriented Editor to join our Cape Town Editorial team. Reporting to the Editorial Manager, you will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and quality of market research content, with a focus on editing and fact-checking AI-assisted reports.

You’ll refine tone and flow, verify data and claims, and correct inaccuracies or inconsistencies, ensuring every report meets our high publishing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field.
• Minimum 3 years editing experience, ideally in market research or data-heavy publishing.
• Excellent written communication, research, and fact-checking skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and fact-check AI-assisted market research reports for accuracy, clarity, style, and formatting.
• Verify data, statistics, and claims against trusted sources; correct errors and inconsistencies.
• Refine tone, structure, and readability to meet Euromonitor standards.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Project Delivery and Insights teams to resolve content issues.
• Provide feedback to technical teams to help improve AI-assisted content quality and workflow.
