Job summary

Euromonitor International is seeking an Associate Consultant for the Cape Town Consulting team. You will lead international research projects, guide decision-makers, and collaborate with analysts to deliver high-quality insights focused on Africa and MEAI regions.

The role emphasizes client engagement, project management, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Cape Town Senior Consulting Manager and work with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, social sciences, engineering or similar with proven research, consulting and analytics exposure.
• At least 2–3 years of work experience in an agency or client environment for the Associate Consultant role.
• Strong data-analysis capabilities and proficiency with Excel; knowledge of PowerBI, R or Python is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English skills and ability to present to corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: plan projects, develop briefs and templates to meet objectives.
• Deliver hypotheses and insights to unlock client problems using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to address client questions and guide decisions.
• Design clear, persuasive reports and presentations for corporate audiences.
• Manage analysts, coordinate communication, schedules and payments.
• Quality control of materials through data validation and interpretation.
• Coordinate with regional offices to align goals and timelines.
• Maintain organized project folders and resources for access across Euromonitor.
