Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement next-gen security solutions across enterprise systems. Hybrid role, on-site and remote collaboration to set strategic security direction and mentor engineering teams.

You will develop threat models, assess risks, define security standards, and oversee controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in an architectural role.
• Extensive experience in designing secure enterprise systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of network, application, data security and IAM.
• Proficiency with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and threat modeling.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF and other security technologies.
• Advanced certifications (CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cybersecurity architecture blueprints for the enterprise.
• Define security standards and best practices for technology adoption.
• Lead assessment and selection of security technologies.
• Develop threat models and conduct risk assessments.
• Provide expert consultation to engineering, development, and operations teams.
• Oversee implementation of security controls and configurations.
• Maintain security architecture documentation.
