Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Creative Content Creator and Copywriter for its Marketing team in Bloemfontein, Free State. The role blends storytelling with brand alignment, crafting website copy, blogs, social posts, emails, and marketing collateral for a vibrant online presence.

You'll collaborate with designers and marketers, manage a content calendar, optimize copy for SEO, and analyze performance to refine strategy. This hybrid role offers partly office-based work in Bloemfontein and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related creative field.
• Minimum 2-4 years as Content Creator/Copywriter or similar.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading with portfolio samples.
• Proficiency in WordPress and CMS platforms.
• Understanding of SEO principles and applying them to content.
• Experience with social media and content scheduling tools.
• Creative, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Strong research skills and ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise copy for marketing materials: websites, landing pages, social posts, emails, ads, product descriptions.
• Develop content ideas for blogs, articles, videos, and digital media aligned with brand voice.
• Create and manage a content calendar; ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders for visually appealing content.
