Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Clinical Research Coordinator for a hybrid role in Port Elizabeth. You will balance on-site patient interactions with remote data management to drive successful clinical trials, ensuring protocol adherence and data integrity.

In collaboration with principal investigators and healthcare teams, you will manage participant logistics, monitor safety, and prepare for monitoring visits. A nursing or life sciences background with GCP knowledge is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or related healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or in a similar clinical research role.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with participants and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification as a Clinical Research Professional (e.g., ACRP, SoCRA) is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all aspects of assigned clinical trials according to study protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, and institutional policies.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants, ensuring informed consent procedures are followed meticulously.
• Schedule and manage participant visits, ensuring adherence to the protocol schedule of events.
• Collect, manage, and maintain accurate and complete clinical trial data, including case report forms (CRFs) and source documents.
• Administer study medications/devices and perform study-related procedures as delegated and trained.
• Monitor participant safety and report adverse events and protocol deviations promptly.
• Liaise with principal investigators, sub-investigators, sponsors, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage study supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external monitoring visits and audits.
