Placements24 is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate for a hybrid role in Gauteng. You will monitor trial sites, ensure data integrity, and enforce GCP/regulatory standards while collaborating with investigators, site staff, and project teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CRA roles, strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, and hands-on CTMS/EDC experience. The position includes travel to sites and a supportive, development-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or equivalent in pharma.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements in SA.
• Experience monitoring clinical trial sites and ensuring data quality.
• Proficiency with CTMS and electronic data capture systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits per GCP and study protocol.
• Verify data accuracy by reviewing source documents and CRFs.
• Ensure study activities comply with local regulations and ICH‑GCP.
• Manage multiple trial sites ensuring patient safety and data integrity.
• Communicate trial progress and issues with investigators and sponsors.
• Train site staff on study procedures and data collection.
• Prepare and present monitoring visit reports timely and accurately.
• Identify and report adverse events per protocol and regulatory requirements.
