Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng is seeking a Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for a hybrid role. You will monitor sites, verify data, and ensure regulatory compliance across trials to accelerate drug development.

The ideal candidate has a 3–5 year CRA track record, strong GCP/ICH knowledge, and excellent organization and communication skills. Travel up to 50–60% is expected, with on-site duties in Benoni.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years of CRA experience in pharma or CRO settings.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience monitoring clinical sites and ensuring data integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits for assigned sites.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing source documents and CRFs.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs and GCP guidelines.
• Manage and maintain TMF and essential study documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for investigators and site staff; provide training and support.
• Identify, track and resolve site-level issues and deviations.
• Oversee drug accountability and proper storage of investigational products.
• Report study progress, risks and issues to PM and study teams.
• Participate in site feasibility assessments and investigator selection.
• Ensure timely resolution of data queries and reporting of adverse events.
• Contribute to development of study documents like monitoring plans and site instructions.
