Placements24 is seeking an experienced Automotive Product Development Engineer to drive concept-to-market automotive product projects in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will shape design specifications, collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, and apply CAD/CAE tools to ensure performance and quality.

The role requires a strong engineering background, project leadership, and a passion for innovation in automotive solutions within a forward-thinking company.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in automotive.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and CAE analysis, and familiarity with ISO standards.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of new automotive products from concept to market launch.
• Perform feasibility studies, define requirements, and create design specs.
• Model and design using CAD; run CAE simulations (FEA/CFD).
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation to meet specs and quality.
