As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing a portfolio of client contracts. This includes managing customer service level agreements, maintenance, repair, and installation of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment on fixed sites and via mobile teams at remote client locations. You will plan and manage daily team activities, ensure compliance with SLAs, provide technical reports, prepare audit reports with budgets, and oversee financial performance and compliance with company procedures. Additionally, you will offer higher-level technical support, train and mentor junior staff, and oversee the 2IC Program within your portfolio.
The Technical Manager is regarded as a subject matter expert in HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance management. You will also support account management in collaboration with the Key Account Manager.

Minimum requirements :
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role (HVAC Manager) or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven project management and supervision experience, with adherence to SLAs.
- Ability to demonstrate results-driven accountability.
- Experience in drafting and managing budgets and proposals.
- Leadership skills in managing project and program teams, motivating staff, and ensuring performance.
- Research skills related to project issues.
- A strong desire for continuous improvement and motivating HVAC technicians.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Project Management.
- Diploma / Degree in Business Management | N2 N6 Certification.
- Valid driver’s license; Gas Practitioner certification (mandatory).
- Trade qualification as Refrigeration / Airconditioning Technician or Mechanic (Industrial / Commercial).
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, organizational effectiveness, and operations management.
- Understanding of contracting principles and contractor management.
- Intermediate financial management skills.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
- Proficiency in reading manuals, schematics, and control circuits.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and report writing.
