Job summary
SFI Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician in Cape Town to install, test, and commission HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects. You will read schematics, troubleshoot, and ensure safety compliance, while mentoring junior technicians.
The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, a Grade 12/Matric and a valid driver’s license. Cape Town residency and immediate availability are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years HVAC installation experience in commercial and/or residential settings.
- Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory).
- Valid Driver’s Licence (compulsory).
- Reside in or around Cape Town; immediate availability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission HVAC systems to meet industry standards.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC installation issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate service records and report findings.
