Job summary

SFI Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician in Cape Town to install, test, and commission HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects. You will read schematics, troubleshoot, and ensure safety compliance, while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, a Grade 12/Matric and a valid driver’s license. Cape Town residency and immediate availability are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC installation experience in commercial and/or residential settings.
• Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory).
• Valid Driver’s Licence (compulsory).
• Reside in or around Cape Town; immediate availability preferred.

HVAC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

As our HVAC Installation Technician, you will:

• Install, test, and commission HVAC systems to meet industry standards.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC installation issues efficiently.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience:

• 3–5 years of HVAC installation experience in commercial and/or residential settings.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving HVAC systems

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory)
• Valid Driver’s Licence (compulsory) older than 1 year
