Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled HVAC Installation Technician for the Stellenbosch area. You will install HVAC systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards. The role includes on-site work with possible remote training tasks.

You must have proven HVAC installation experience, be proficient with ductwork and electrical basics, read blueprints, and hold a valid driver's license. A company vehicle and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician.
• Proficiency in installing various types of HVAC equipment and ductwork.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and air balancing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation units, and associated ductwork.
• Ensure all installations are performed according to manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
• Perform system checks and initial start-ups to verify proper operation post-installation.
• Educate clients on the operation and basic maintenance of their new HVAC systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure seamless project completion.
