Key Responsibilities:
- Local HR Vendor Management: Oversee partnerships with third-party HR service providers to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement in workforce planning and delivery; Resolve escalated issues related to staffing, payroll, and employee relations with vendors.
- Frontline Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead end-to-end HR processes for frontline staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding; Address employee grievances and foster a positive workplace environment.
- Employee Engagement & Development: Design and implement incentive programs, recognition schemes, and career development plans to boost retention and productivity; Collaborate with FF & training manager to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted training programs; Support retail managers in performance evaluation, feedback delivery, and succession planning.
- Workforce Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to labor compliance, employee safety, and contractual disputes; Develop policies and training programs to ensure adherence to local labor regulations and company ethics; Manage crisis situations, including labor disputes or regulatory audits.
- Data-Driven HR Insights: Analyze HR metrics (attrition, productivity, engagement) to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years as an HRBP or HR generalist, preferably in retail, FMCG, or high-volume workforce environments; Proven track record in managing third-party HR vendors and frontline employee programs; Strong knowledge of local labor laws and risk management practices.
- Skills: Strategic mindset with ability to balance business needs and employee advocacy; Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Fluency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
