Job description

A Vacancy exists for a HR Operations Manager in the HR Division Centurion

Overview

We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge and experience in the labour relations / law field, combined with general human resources. Understanding, knowledge and acumen, including human resources, recruitment and talent management, administration and skills development.

It is expected that the person will be the interface between operations and other support functions and the Head Office human resource functions.

The role is about solving problems, implementing agreed projects and initiatives and getting hands dirty to resolve conflict, monitoring and inspecting HR related compliance, providing support and assisting operations and other functions in the business

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implement new company policies
  • Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
  • Address employees’ queries on issues related to compensation and labour regulations, and all other relevant topics

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

  1. Law degree specialised in labour law
  2. B.Com degree specialised in Human Resources on similar but with a strong understanding of Labour relations law.
  3. Honours or Master’s degree may be an advantage
  4. Proven experience at a relevant senior management level or equivalent specialised position
  5. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
  6. Team management skills
  7. High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
  9. Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  10. Ability to handle confidential HR information with discretion.
  11. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple HR responsibilities effectively.
