Job description

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER for a well-established, large concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable transport.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (Postgraduate qualification preferred).

7-10 years’ Human Resources experience, with proven expertise in South African employment law, EE, and BBBEE. Strategic role which includes a seat on the Executive Committee (ExCo).

Develop and execute HR strategies and policies that support the company’s regional business objectives.

Manage all aspects of EE legislative compliance, including workforce audits and submissions.

Compile, analyse, and submit annual BBBEE scorecards, ensuring adherence to BBBEE codes and policies.

Lead the end-to-end recruitment process to attract high-quality candidates that align with company values and diversity targets.

Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary procedures, and workplace conflict resolution.

Promote continuous professional development to support individual and organizational growth.

Compile the annual training report and workplace skills plan for submission to the labour department.

Oversee competitive compensation structures compliant with local laws.

Manage employee benefits and reward systems to attract and retain talent.

Maintain accurate human resources records in compliance with regional legislation.

Monitor progress against EE and BBBEE targets, produce reports, and address gaps proactively.
