Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced and senior HR professional to lead recruitment, training, BEE, employee benefits, and a range of HR functions. This role is strategic and includes a seat on the Executive Committee (ExCo), so only serious candidates with proven expertise will be considered. Preferably 5–7 years’ experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Drive Employment Equity (EE) and BBBEE compliance and reporting.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.

  • Oversee employee relations, engagement, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Coordinate learning and development programs.

  • Administer remuneration, benefits, and leave management.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality.

  • Lead diversity, inclusion, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (postgraduate preferred).

  • 7–10 years’ HR experience with solid knowledge of South African employment law, EE, and BBBEE.

  • Previous leadership experience within an African or South African organisation.
