HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Our client, a leader in the Agricultural industry, is seeking a seasonedHuman Resources Manager/ HR Manager to lead its People & Culture function. Based at the flagship farm near Kimberley, the successful candidate will play a strategic and operational role in building organisational capability, cultivating a high-performance culture, and supporting the business' long-term people development goals. The job incumbent will report to the Chief Executive Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Human Resources (HR) department across all business units
- Develop and implement a comprehensive career development and succession planning framework
- Establish and embed a performance-driven culture aligned to company values and objectives
- Ensure full compliance with all labour laws, HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support leadership teams in managing organisational change and workforce development
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Provide strategic input on remuneration, benefits, and retention strategies
- Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support executive decision-making
- Facilitate employee wellness, diversity, and engagement initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters
REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior HR management role, preferably in agriculture, FMCG, or industrial sectors
- Proven ability to lead HR strategy, drive cultural transformation, and manage multi-level teams
- Strong working knowledge of South African labour legislation, HR compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated success in building career development programmes and succession planning pipelines
