POSITION INFO :
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
Strategic Management
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement the HR strategy.
- Manage the HR budget.
- Provide regular reporting on strategy execution and progress.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- End-to-end management of the recruitment process.
- Draft and publish job advertisements across various platforms.
- Review and screen CVs.
- Conduct interviews (virtual and in-person).
- Coordinate and administer technical assessments.
- Headhunt and actively source talent as needed.
Employment Lifecycle Management
- Draft and negotiate offer letters and employment contracts.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
- Manage the offboarding process and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
Performance & Development
- Facilitate performance check-ins and reviews.
- Support development planning and coaching conversations.
- Write job descriptions and define KPIs for all roles.
HR Operations & Administration
- Address day-to-day HR queries from employees.
- Manage employee leave records.
- Coordinate internal events (birthdays, anniversaries, team buildings, year-end functions).
- Administer wellness and employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive HR innovation and introduce relevant HR technologies.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of employee activities (e.g., training, grievances, disciplinary action, performance evaluations).
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee Industrial Relations matters.
- Ensure HR compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.
Meetings & Communication
- Coordinate and manage monthly team meetings (prepare agendas, draft minutes).
- Participate in designing and implementing employee retention strategies.
- Propose HR solutions aligned with broader business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience :
- Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar HR Manager role.
- Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment will be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational ability
- Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related systems.
