Job description

Location : Randburg

Type : Permanent & On-site

Salary : circa R50K per month negotiable

AA / EE Requirements : None

Essential Experience & Qualifications required for consideration :

  1. Postgraduate Honours (Master's degree highly preferred and will be given preference) in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years (preferred 8 years) HR experience, of which min 2 years (5 years preferred) must have been at Management level.
  3. Proficiency in HRIS (Zoho, Sage, SAP or similar)
  4. Exposure to senior and executive management in terms of business partnering
  5. Extensive experience in employee and industrial relations, recruitment, training, and performance management.
  6. Advanced / in-depth knowledge of Labour Legislation (LRA, BCEA, WCA, EEA)
  7. Membership with SABPP (preferred).

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

  1. Recruitment & Talent Management (20%)
    Interview and recommend candidates aligned with company culture.
    Ensure proper induction and training for new recruits.
  2. Employee Engagement & Retention (30%)
    Build relationships with top talent and develop retention plans.
    Monitor employee morale and advise management on improvement strategies.
  3. Performance Management & Industrial Relations (35%)
    Support management in employee performance monitoring.
    Address performance issues proactively.
  4. Statutory Compliance (10%)
    Ensure full compliance with labour laws and regulations.
    Prevent non-compliance orders and mitigate risks.
  5. Monthly Reporting & Administration (5%)
    Maintain an accurate HR tracker.
    Process salary administration and verify payroll information.

Additional Requirements :

  • Overtime and weekend work when required.
  • Travel as needed.
