HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (SA-CONNECT PROJECT)

Broadband Infraco, a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Consultant: HR Operations, the incumbent will:

1. Coordinate the recruitment & selection process pertaining to the above project.
2. Ensure that positions are profiled and graded.
3. Give input regarding the review and formulation of HR policies and ensure they are aligned with various labor legislation.
4. Communicate new and changed policies and procedures to all staff.
5. Advise staff and line management regarding the interpretation of policies.
6. Advise correct procedures for arranging/accessing training.
7. Facilitate performance management administration.
8. Support Organizational Development change management initiatives.
9. Monitor and facilitate employee relations.
10. Handle reporting and general administration.
11. Facilitate and advise on termination of employment processes and all related administrative processes.
12. Provide HR Generalist support as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
2. 5 years of Generalist / HR Practitioner experience (with exposure to development and implementation of HR policies, employee relations, recruitment & selection, and administration).
3. Good working knowledge of all legislation impacting the HR domain and their practical application in the workplace – Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act, Labor Relations Act, Employment Equity Act.
4. Microsoft and HR information system experience is critical.
