Honours Degree in Human Sciences, Human Resources Management, or Industrial / Organisational Psychology
MBA advantageous
10 Years relevant HR Management experience, including 5 years at an Executive level
Knowledge of HR / payroll legislation & systems
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the human resources management strategy
Partner with divisional business heads to support strategic human capital initiatives
Ensure integration of group HR policies into divisional operations
Develop strategies and procedures to attract appropriate talent
Design and implement succession plans
Develop and execute employment equity, BBBEE strategies, and implementation plans
Ensure compliance with relevant HR legislation (Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Act, Skills Development Act, MIBCO Main Agreement, etc.)
Develop recruitment and selection strategies
Oversee psychometric assessments for recruitment and development
Analyze exit statistics, identify trends, and recommend actions
Develop employee relations strategies
Manage national wage negotiations with Trade Unions and oversee implementation
Provide strategic direction for organizational development initiatives
Ensure HR systems and policies comply with statutory requirements
Develop communication and broad-based remuneration strategies
Review salary surveys, analyze results, and make recommendations
Represent the company at employee benefit boards and committees
Monitor benefits and align them with reward strategies
Facilitate change management initiatives
Prepare annual human capital budgets and HR reports
Update performance contracts and development plans; facilitate career planning
Identify training needs and conduct performance reviews
Resolve grievances and disputes
