Job Title : Human Resources Data Analyst

Location : Johannesburg, South Africa

Salary : R25,000 per month

Contract Type : 3-Month Contract

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Data Analyst to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to support strategic HR decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect, process, and analyse HR data related to workforce demographics, performance, recruitment, retention, and other key HR metrics.
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards and regular reports to inform business decisions.
• Support the HR team with data-driven insights and ad hoc data requests.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across HR systems and reports.
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement within HR data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline data processes and reporting tools.

Requirements :

Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience working in a data analysis role, ideally within an HR or people analytics function.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with HRIS systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present clear findings.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
