Overview
We are looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) who can contribute both at hands-on and strategic levels to create an exceptional employee experience at EXL. The role will focus on executing the people strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and building an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to deliver on the people strategy and implement innovative HR initiatives.
- Drive the rollout of new employee programs and engagement activities.
- Coach managers on talent frameworks, tools, and effective people management.
- Support the full employee life cycle: talent development, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing accurate and timely HR support.
- Partner with Payroll, HR Shared Services, Legal, and other teams to ensure compliance and ethical conduct.
- Manage employee relations: disputes, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Facilitate effective communication on HR matters across the business.
- Represent EXL with professionalism and integrity, internally and externally.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience (BPO industry experience preferred but not essential).
- At least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Bachelor’s degree or HR-related certification (Matric required).
- Experience managing HR processes in shift-based environments.
