To support the effective implementation of Human Resources (HR) and workforce strategies for the allocated business area, facilitating the attraction, retention, and development of the required workforce capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a small team of HR Advisors, providing expertise and advisory support on people management, Industrial Relations, HR mandates, and remuneration for the assigned business area.
- Ensuring safety by adhering to company safety requirements and overseeing contractors and employees involved in the HR business partner team, complying with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Applying knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, labour relations, negotiation, and personnel information systems.
- Contributing to HR strategies, plans, budgets, and performance targets, and sharing accountability for their delivery.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including recruitment activities.
- Monitoring and reporting on HR deliverables and supporting HR controls framework compliance.
- Investigating breaches of conduct or procedures as assigned.
- Supporting decision-making with HR reports and data analysis.
- Coaching line managers on people management using appropriate tools and techniques.
Functional and Leadership Responsibilities:
- Acting as an escalation point for employee issues and providing advisory support throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards for all involved in HR strategy execution.
- Planning and allocating tasks within the team, supporting organizational development, and promoting operational discipline.
- Leading or supporting change initiatives aligned with business and HR strategies.
- Maintaining compliance with quality management and legal standards.
- Motivating and coaching team members to meet performance targets and ensure quality HR services.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of HR principles, procedures, and systems.
- Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and production methods.
- Proficiency in business communication, project management, and contractor management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in HR, with demonstrated practice development and influence.
- Experience managing HR projects within operational contexts and exposure to commercial contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and HRIS systems.
