Job description

We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support our HR department with administrative tasks, employee record management, and day-to-day HR operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and personal information.
  • Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Handle employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, performance reports, and disciplinary notices.
  • Track employee leave, attendance, and other HR metrics.
  • Support payroll processing with necessary employee data and changes.
  • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. Sage, BambooHR, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) Essential.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Advantageous.
  • Experience with payroll systems and HR databases.
