MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To enable the achievement of organisational goals by leading the delivery of an optimal and relevant HR Service within the designated region / function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Support the development of the MCSA Human Resources Strategy and lead the implementation within designated region
  • Establish and maintain an optimal and relevant HR Service within the designated region
  • Design and implement solutions for designated human resource responsibility areas (where applicable)
  • Manage quality assurance and mitigate HR risk and governance
  • Lead and manage the local HR Service teams
  • Lead development and manage implementation of regional workforce plan

Required Education

Essential: Bachelors Degree/ diploma in Human Resources or related field

Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in Human Resources Management

Required Experience

Required:

5 - 8 years HRM experience in a large organisation

Desired

3 - 5 years in a senior HR manager role, or in a complex organisation

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

  • Computer skills (MS Office suite)
  • Demonstration of contract management
  • Demonstration of project management skills
  • Knowledge and application of Transformation and Employement Equity implementation
  • Knowledge of the HR regulatory environment (including legislation, policies and process)
  • Understanding and utilisation of relevant HR metrics
  • Expertise in a generalist HR Function, understanding all HR processes
