Key Responsibilities:
- Human Capital Planning: Facilitate and implement the Human Capital plan, including employment equity, transformation plans, and workplace skills plans.
- Workforce Planning: Implement the annual workforce plan and review and update organisational structures.
- Performance Management: Coordinate the annual performance management cycle.
- Business Solutions: Facilitate multidisciplinary business issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to the decision-making process.
- Job Evaluation: Coordinate the job evaluation process and liaise with Management to compile and review role profiles.
- Compliance: Monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and compile employment contracts.
- Governance: Ensure compliance and governance to statutory requirements and recommend good corporate governance principles.
- HC Analytics: Compile analytical data and trends monthly/quarterly on HC analytics.
- Remuneration Management: Implement and administer remuneration solutions, including pay scales, internal parity, and remuneration benchmarks.
- Employee Assistance: Coordinate the utilisation of the employee assistance program.
- Organisational Development: Implement projects to improve organizational effectiveness and HC transformation interventions.
- Policy Review: Contribute to the review of policies and procedures and propose changes to work processes.
- Learning and Development: Facilitate the learning needs analysis process, identify gaps, and coordinate the IDP process.
- Development Initiatives: Implement development initiatives and programs to meet identified gaps and coaching and mentoring initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Recommend practices to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote high employee morale and motivation.
- Labour Relations: Represent management in labour matters, reconcile opposing claims, and recommend new processes and procedures.
- Recruitment: Manage recruitment process (end-to-end)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology or Human Resources Management.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Human Capital generalist roles.
- Experience in an FMCG unionised environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- General knowledge of HR administration.
