Job description

Leading manufacturer and supplier of medical / pharmaceutical products requires a Human Capital Manager to join their team in Johannesburg South.
You will ensure efficient and compliant HC operations within the manufacturing facility, with a focus on recruiting scarce and critical skills, maintaining accurate employee records, driving compliance with company policies, and implementing corrective actions identified through audits.

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant HR qualification (Degree or Diploma in HR Management or related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in HR Management.
  • Manufacturing industry experience will secure.
  • Strong experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and retention strategies, especially for scarce and critical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage HR operations, employee relations, and compliance with labour legislation.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data management, experience with SAGE 300 would be advantageous.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Industry would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain scarce and critical skills essential for the pharmaceutical industry.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and quality hires.

Compliance and Corrective Action
Drive adherence to company policies and labour legislation across the facility.
Implement corrective measures identified through internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement.

Operational HR Management
Oversee day-to-day HC activities, ensuring seamless HC service delivery.
Maintain the accuracy and completeness of employee data, supporting business decisions with reliable data.
Manage HR administration, including contract management, benefits administration, and leave management.
Prepare and submit accurate HC reports in a timely manner to support management insights and compliance requirements.

Performance Management & Employee Engagement
Drive performance management processes.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and workplace culture.

Customer-Centric HC Delivery
Foster a service-oriented culture, ensuring HC solutions meet the needs of employees and managers effectively.
Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HC-related matters.
