Human Capital Manager required in Randburg.

A respected and dynamic retail brand operating across South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia is seeking a Human Capital Manager to drive HR excellence within its Sales & Marketing teams.

This pivotal role focuses on HR compliance, recruitment, performance management, and shaping a strong, people-centered culture.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial sales environment, has a keen understanding of multi-country HR operations and regional labour laws, and is willing to travel across these regions as needed to support and engage with local teams.

Salary: R30 000 to R35 000 per month CTC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • 7+ years of HR/People Management experience, preferably in a sales-driven, direct sales, or field-based environment
  • Multi-country HR management experience (South Africa, Botswana, Namibia highly advantageous)
  • Strong grasp of HR compliance, labour laws, and employment contracts
  • Expertise in performance management, employee engagement, and cultural development
  • Skilled in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Familiarity with incentive programs, compensation models, and payroll processes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel when required and work independently with a dispersed sales team

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performance & Culture:Build a high-performance, engaged culture among sales consultants, supporting regional managers in driving team success
  • Compliance & Contracts:Ensure adherence to labour regulations, manage employment contracts, and oversee fair compensation practices
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:Lead hiring efforts for sales consultants and managers, ensuring smooth integration and structured onboarding
  • Employee Engagement:Collaborate with leadership to enhance motivation, development, and retention of sales teams
  • Employee Relations:Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters professionally and fairly
  • Rewards & Incentives:Design and refine commission, bonus, and recognition programs to motivate and reward performance
  • HR Strategy:Work closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with sales and marketing goals across all regions
