Job description

Tracker requires the services of a talented and experienced Human Capital Business Partner to support the IT, Development, and Engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advising, coaching, and supporting line managers and staff on various HC functions such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, job evaluation, remuneration, benefits, induction, development, training, staff wellness, organizational design, and academic probation.
  2. Undertaking specific projects in consultation with line management to facilitate HC activities and improve client service.
  3. Providing timely and relevant HC management information.
  4. Ensuring high-quality staffing sourcing for the business unit/department.
  5. Implementing the full performance management cycle.
  6. Driving organizational values and creating a positive working environment.
  7. Identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  8. Implementing Human Capital Policies and Procedures at the business unit/department level.
  9. Handling employee relations and dispute resolutions, including CCMA/Labour court matters.
  10. Executing all people processes aligned with policy and legislation.
  11. Supporting talent forecasting and planning aligned with business strategy.
  12. Facilitating initiatives to build a high-performing organization.
  13. Promoting employee engagement and feedback.
  14. Providing expert advice and coaching to employees.
  15. Managing Human Capital reporting and change interventions.
  16. Administering skills audits to identify organizational skills needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. A degree in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, or equivalent.
  2. MAP or similar Management Development Programme advantageous.
  3. 5-7 years' experience as a Human Capital Generalist supporting IT, Development, and Engineering sectors.
  4. Strong employee relations experience.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  7. Understanding of Change Processes, Performance Management, and improvement processes.
  8. Basic Project Management skills.
  9. Knowledge of BCEA, Employment Equity, Labour Relations Act, and Skills Development Acts.
  10. Knowledge of career development methodologies.
  11. Willingness to travel.
