Job Title : Hub Purchasing Manager

The Hub Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities within the designated hub.

This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with purchasing strategies, and leading local purchasing initiatives.

Key Data and Statistics: Provide 4-5 key metrics that characterize the results, means, and activities of this role, such as:

• Turnover
• Gross margin
• Budgets
• Tonnage
• Number of subordinates

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the entry point for all purchasing requests.
• Manage supplier quality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with supply chain and procurement teams.
• Specify the percentage of domestic travel required (e.g., 30%) and international travel (e.g., 0%).

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should be capable of handling procurement for packaging, raw materials, mining, CapEx, etc., and must:

• Ensure compliance with purchasing strategies and policies at the site level.
• Organize and coordinate local trials with suppliers.
• Lead new purchasing initiatives across clusters or at the country level.
• Be responsible for local purchase contracts for opex and CapEx.
• Support the deployment of larger CapEx projects.
• Maintain a frequent local presence across various sites.
• Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Propose and manage local purchase synergies.
• Monitor supplier performance and KPIs.
• Report on financial performance and track savings targets.
