The Hub Manager is responsible for the overall management of the hub, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves overseeing inventory, logistics, safety, and quality control, as well as driving performance metrics, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring the smooth running of the hub.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the Distribution Centre, including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Balance workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for Distribution Centre.
  • Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Ensure goals are met and budgets are adhered to.
  • Monitor Centre Managers and associated activities; offer assistance to those with concerns or problems on the work floor.
  • Implement worker safety and health regulations.
  • Meet with other managers to confer about products, shipping times, and distribution issues.
  • Create new supply strategies.
  • Manage staff resources and allocate supplies.
  • Plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes effectively.
