Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.
• Oversee the day to day operations of the distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Managing the hub fleet and contract drivers.
• Send weekly reports and updates.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Implement inventory control measures to accurately track and manage stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with transportation and logistics partners to optimize the inbound and outbound flow of goods.
• Monitor transportation schedules, carrier performance, and freight costs.
• Ensure the distribution center complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and productivity of the distribution center.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
• Address customer complaints or concerns related to distribution center operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
