Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria seeks a Risk Manager to ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental laws and to build a resilient HSE culture on site. The role covers implementing standards, training staff, and managing contractors across our facilities.

The successful candidate will hold a Matric and preferably an HSE Diploma, with SAMTRAC/NEBOSH IGC and HIRA training. Prior FMCG experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• HSE Diploma or higher is preferred.
• SAMTRAC or NEBOSH IGC certification essential.
• HIRA training certificate essential.
• Degree in HSE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Acts and legislations.
• Implement and maintain standards, procedures and SOPs.
• Ongoing training, coaching and assessment of staff and contractors.
• Develop and implement emergency plans and insurance standards.
• Foster a culture of health, safety and zero incidents on site.
• Manage outsourced service providers and ad hoc contractors.
• Oversee ESG risks and opportunities related to environment.
