Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance to internal HSE requirements in accordance with the latest editions of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
2. Ensure compliance to local legislation.
3. Conduct operational risk assessments and assist with the design of risk mitigation measures.
4. Conduct Inductions with new Employees, Visitors & Contractors.
5. Manage Notify IM Near Miss Report Register. Ensuring escalation of Opportunities for Improvement and critical Reported Near Misses.
6. Development of required HSE documentation, operational compliance verifications, and report results to QHSE Manager.
7. Executing Internal HSE Audits and generate Internal Audit Reports accordingly.
8. Provide QHSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective action(s), required resources for preventive action and plan of implementation.
9. Investigate the root cause of HSE complaints put forward by personnel, clients, and report the results to the QHSE Manager.
10. Assist QHSE Manager in the preparation of Management System Review Meeting statistics.
11. Co-ordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
12. Review and analyse accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
13. Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted (at local and international facilities) to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintain records of such drills, provide recommendations for emergency response improvements.
14. Verify submitted monthly Facility Safety & Health inspection and manage identified corrections.
15. Verify Site-specific HSE Records and follow-up on outstanding documentation.
16. Responsible for preparing written monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
17. Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned; and
18. Undergo training when required.

1. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
