Job description

Our client, a market leader in the field of industrial electrical installations, commissioning and maintenance, seeks to employ a vibrant and qualified HSE and Compliance Officer, who meets very specific criteria, so please read the ad carefully.

Please note that this is not a role within a large company and does not require a senior level candidate, however SACPCMP registration is essential as well as experience in Safety management and control of works in construction, hazardous locations and or retail petroleum sector.

POSITION INFO:
  • You must have completed a recognised National Diploma in Safety Management, coupled with SACPCMP registration, and 3-5 years’ experience in HSE and Compliance administration and compliance management.
  • You will have experience in maintaining company policies and procedures, ensuring professional training on company policies and procedures and safety development, conduct audits at the various branches and sites, as well as assimilate reports for management.
  • You will be proactive, highly organised and work toward an incident free / zero tolerance environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential in order to manage reporting and maintain a compliance database.
  • The ability to manage high volumes of HSE administration, reports and practical training is essential.
  • You must have your own, reliable vehicle and be willing to travel across Gauteng and surrounding provinces to sites where necessary.
