HR Specialist (Chinese-speaking)
Location: Boksburg, Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of South African labour laws, employment policies, and local cultural context.
- Provide HR solutions aligned with head office strategy to support local business development, ensuring both localization and compliance.
- Lead recruitment efforts by formulating talent acquisition strategies for South Africa.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for mid-to-senior level roles, key local positions, and service workers.
- Optimize recruitment channels to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand hiring needs.
- Take the lead in job profiling, recruitment planning, interview assessment, and offer decision-making to ensure fast and accurate hiring.
- Support other HR functions in the South Africa region, including performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational optimization, to enhance comprehensive HR capabilities.
- Build and improve local recruitment policies, processes, and talent pool mechanisms.
- Continuously enhance the influence of the employer brand in the local market.
- Assist head office in promoting corporate culture within the South Africa region.
- Strengthen team cohesion and cultural identity, and support the rollout of key HR projects locally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- Native Chinese speaker with strong English communication and writing skills.
- Able to work in a bilingual (Chinese-English) environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR-related work experience; experience in recruitment projects is preferred.
- Proficient in recruitment tools and processes; good coordination and communication skills.
- Familiarity with other HR modules (employee relations, performance, training, etc.) is a plus.
- Must be a resident in South Africa with a valid work permit.
