Duties & Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Ensuring all documents are scanned and filed. Maintaining accurate and readily accessible records for efficiency.
- Recruitment: Develop and implement EVP strategy that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent. Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a seamless transition for new employees. Manage the entire employee lifecycle.
- Recruitment metrics: Time to fill/hire, promotions, placements, advertisements, voluntary turnover, and involuntary turnover.
- Payroll: Monthly and weekly wages. Oversee payroll operations, system and data integrity, compliance, reporting, and journals. Preparing employee yearly increases and bonuses.
- Tax Submission: EMP201, EMP501, and IRP5s.
- Employee Benefits: Processing third-party claims and ensuring that all staff receive proper benefits.
- Skills Development: Understanding of Agri seta Teta. Engaging with Health and Safety and other Departments to ensure all training needs are met.
- Employment Equity: Implementing Equity plan, facilitating employment equity forums, and submitting EE Plan.
- Labour Relations: Advising Line management on disciplinary queries and facilitating disciplinary processes. Grievances, employee discussions, initiator, and retrenchments.
- HR Analytics: Gathering, analyzing, and reporting HR data to drive business results. Compensation metrics, productivity metrics.
- Audits: Dept of Labour, Digi Review, WCA, NBCRFLI, SARS, Financial Year-end, and Health and Safety.
- Budgets: Preparing Salary Budget and Training budget for HR manager for Exco and Board approval.
- Leave Management: Manage absenteeism and sick leave through metrics and feedback to management.
- Employee Wellness: Facilitate and plan awareness sessions for TB, HIV/AIDS, Eye Tests, medical wellness days, and Financial Wellness.
- Reporting: HR Dashboard preparation for HR Manager for Exco meetings.
- People Management: Managing the payroll clerk and HR administrator to ensure all functions are completed according to company policies.

- Relevant HR Qualification with solid working experience.
